Catering to Your Pets Comforts & Happiness, since 2001
at my two 'studio-apartments' for Cats, Bunnies or other Fuzzy Critters.
With only two rooms available in which I am offering this service, it will be
very personalized care.
Your pets will be temporary members of our family, with space - that's like a studio apartment - to call their own.
Your pets would be free/loose in their own reserved 12' x 12' room during their stay, (unless they require or need a pet crate for their safety, security and/or comfort).
These are not pens or cages, but are each actual 12' x 12' rooms set up as Cats & Fuzzy Critters Care 'studio apartments'.
This is individualized, case by case for their needs and how I set the rooms up, personalized cats & fuzzy critters care.
Great spaces for lounging & playing and multiple-pet families etc.
Great for pets who need meds or special feedings, or if they're recovering from a surgery or health issue,
or if you have to go away for an extended period, or if you are not in my Visiting service area for daily cats/fuzzy critters vaca visits etc.
The two cats & fuzzy critters rooms have homey wide-pine-wood walls, vinyl-sheeted flooring, perches/cat scratching posts and lounge chairs, windows/daylight (the windows will stay closed so no mishaps occur with the potential for chewing through screens etc). There is also a large stainless steel sink with counter setup, TV & radio.
These rates are Guideline Rates. Rates may vary for certain circumstances ~

Cats/fuzzy Critters Care Vacation Stays rates guidelines:
$20 per each day/night for one cat/fuzzy critter and $10 per each additional same household cat/fuzzy critter in the same studio apt.
If you have more than 3 cats/fuzzy critters I can determine a group rate.
If you have caged or crated very small critters that don't need a whole room/space outside of their cage or crate, I can take care of them safely in my home and we can discuss a rate.
Transport & Errands rates guidelines:
$20/hr (minimum of $20) for transportation to and from pets appointments and time it takes at the appointments or to do errands for them. If I have to buy supplies for them, then I will also charge you for the supplies. (I aim to be fair to you and to myself).
Plan to bring:
Their own food (I want to keep them on their usual diets.
If I need to shop for them the Transport & Errands rates guidelines will apply)
Their own CLEAN litter and litter box(es) so they have what they're used to.
I recommend naturally-clumping corn-based Worlds Best Cat Litter brand.
Their meds if necessary, for a few extra days longer than you planned on -
just in case of an unexpected delay on your return.
I have exercise pens to set up for bunnies within the rooms.
Also feel free to bring whatever other comforts from home that they are used to such as safe toys or bedding etc.
I want your pets to feel at Home in my own home :)
If you have caged very small critters that need care, we can discuss and make special arrangements for them.
Basic Pet Care Vacation Stays in My Own Home Info:
Minimum of two night stays - (like a hotel).
Drop off and Pick up is generally sometime between 4-7pm unless otherwise mutually coordinated.
If you are an established client who I do Visits for at your home, and if we can't mutually coordinate for you to bring your pets here or pick them up here, I may be able to pick up or drop off your pets after you leave and before you come back home, if we can successfully coordinate that with your travel schedule. The Transport & Errands rates guidelines apply to this service.

Notes:
Pets do need to be spayed/neutered.
Same household pets do obviously need to get along in order to stay together.
Pets must be housebroken and/or be accustomed to using their litter boxes properly in general.
Pets must be free of fleas, and ticks in general, and hopefully have been provided with adequate provisions to guard against these parasites.
I will provide for and charge accordingly for proper treatment for them if it is found that there is a flea or tick problem that has not been attended to prior to them coming for their stay.
Please do not give your pets extra treats or foods they are not accustomed to before you go away-- we don't want them to experience gastric upset during their stay.
I will need a copy of their latest vet record that has their current vaccines listed on it, as per your vets' vaccines protocols/recommendations.
Pets must have been seen by your vet within the past year so if a health issue occurs, your vet will be familiar and up to date with you and your pets, to most easily accept caring for them in your absence.
I will need their Vet info; and your Contact info & where you'll be, including a land line phone # if at all possible.
Please let me know in advance if you'd like to come take a peek at my Cat & Fuzzy Critters Vacation Stays rooms. If so, I will be happy to coordinate a time with you.
