A passionate lifetime of animal love and devotion has developed into a business to satisfy the daily desires of helping benefit companion animals and their owners. My compassion was recognized in the early childhood days of having our own family pets (fish, turtle, newts, cats,
dogs) and caring for stray cats and the unlucky birds they may have encountered. I was also involved in 4-H during the teen years and enjoyed taking care of a neighbor’s small farm for the fun of it since I couldn’t have my own farm animals. And now I have my own 4-legged family of 6 felines and 3
canines that are like children to us. For the past few years, my husband and I have been strong supporters for Cocheco Valley Humane Society. Through the foster parent program, we take kitten families, and an occasional dog, into our home until they’re healthy or old enough to find permanent homes.
Through the Visiting Companions Pet Therapy program, we also visit local nursing homes regularly with our own pets and the foster kittens to bring joy to the residents that cannot have their own pets. It’s amazing how a furry friend can brighten someone’s day - an example of how strong the human/pet
bond can be.
I am offering service within an approximate 15 minute one-way driving radius of Berwick, catering to people that feel the same about their companion pets as we do. What can beat the carefree service of someone coming to you at
your pets’ own home? It’s a difficult juggling act when torn between putting in long hours at work and going on guilt-free vacations while having to leave your pets at home. Your pets thrive on human companionship, as they are very social and emotional beings that
aim to please their humans most positively through consistent routines. Pets can get confused and stressed when forced to stray from their normal routines. The comfort of staying in their own home provides them with stress free human interaction through pet sitting services. And the best thing is
that the consistency allows them to do what ultimately make their lives worth living… to make YOU happy and pleased with them. Pet sitting may not be for everyone - But if your pet thrives in your home environment and you’re gone long hours or away on vacation, then it may be exactly what you
