Orientation for Visits and Pet Stays
$15 -
Plan on approx 1 hr depending on how much we chat about your pets care and
info
Re-Orientation for Visits and Pet Stays $15 -
If there's been a lull since
you last had me visit, you have a new pet, or there are new concerns etc
Key Pickup for Visits
$15

Please have keys (2 sets) ready at time of Orientation for
Visits at your own home to
avoid this additional fee
Key Return for Visits $15 .... (I will be happy to hold
them if you will need future Visits)
Bonnie's Pet Sitting offers 2 types of Pet Care Visits, plus Cat & fuzzy
Critter Care in my own home ~
Dogs Must be generally friendly and accepting of new
people/visitors,
and welcoming to people in general, to be candidates for pet care/visits
Dogs
should have general basic good behavior manners to be candidates for pet care/visits
Dogs should have general basic good leash manners to go for walks
If your dogs don't fit into these categories, I can share some resources to
consider that may help them achieve the overall basics
I am not a formally trained behaviorist nor do I claim to be, but I have a
variety of cumulative experiences with pets that I enjoy sharing
I am a dedicated trustworthy pet care-taker, and aim to be very aware and in
tune with your pets overall well being
1.) Dogs
M - F Daytime Midday-type Visits / Walks while you're gone for a long day but aren't away overnight
starting at
$18/visit
Midday visits are between the approx hours of 10am-4pm scheduled according to the times
you're gone for the day and considering driving routes.
I'm no longer available for time-sensitive a.m. or evening visits.
2.) Cats & Fuzzy Critters Daily Daytime Visits / house
checking while you're gone away on vacation or a getaway

Sats & Suns & Holidays Cat & fuzzy Critters daytime vacation visits

I no longer typically do Visits that have time requirements, but if I do 'early' a.m.s & evenings under special circumstances on any day, these
Visits are also starting at $25+
Cats must stay indoors while I am caring for them, unless they have a secure cat
yard enclosure.
Any Visit for 1.) & 2.) above
Base visiting time is an approximate 1/2 hour of visiting time
These base rates include round trip travel to & from your pets visits in
my centralized
pet visiting area.
Rates may be higher if travel is not in my centralized service area or if on the outskirts of
pet visiting area,etc...at Bonnie's discretion to be quoted when we meet or once
I know your locality and needs and so on, etc.
$5/additional 15 min. increments over 1/2 hour of visiting time
ex: multiple pets, special needs, any other factors
often ‘to be determined’ visit to visit as visits happen
$20/hr (minimum of $20) for transportation to and from pets appointments and time it
takes at the appointments or to do errands for them (I aim to be fair to you and to
myself :)
We will plan an orientation meeting to
establish before Visits begin.
This entails going over your pets routines at their own home/ yard/ walking
routes
and allows your pets
some time
to be comfortable with their new visitor.
Winter (Snow!)

Winter weather time of year can put a twist on Pet Visiting and other daily events in
general.
It's pretty much a given that we'll have snow in ME & NH anytime between Dec - April each year -- it just varies how
often or how much.
I need to be able to park my car off the street to be able to enter your home and care for your pets.
We don't want to compromise your pets care by not having RELIABLE snow removal arrangements made ahead of time especially if you're going to be away on vacation, and if we get a lot of snow!
You will be charged for the base price of your Visit for any unsuccessful attempts made to scheduled
Visits
(due to snow that makes me unable to get into your driveway and easily park at your home).
A bit of snow is no big deal. We're talking about snow that makes me unable to
park my car in a driveway
especially considering after town plows go by that create snow piles; or, for
another example, unable to get into a gate to your home that's snow barricaded.

3.)
I ALSO Offer Cats &Fuzzy Critters Vacation Stays
in
my own home when you go away overnight
at my two 'studio-apartments' for Cats, Bunnies or
other fuzzy 'critters'.
With only two rooms available
in which I am offering this service, it will be
very personalized care.
Your pets
will be temporary members of our family, with space - that's like a studio
apartment - to call their own.
Your pets would be free/loose in their own reserved 12' x 12'
room during
their stay, (unless they require or need a pet crate for their safety, security
and/or comfort).
These are not pens or cages, but are each actual 12'
x 12' rooms set up as Cat & fuzzy Critter
Care 'studio apartments'.
This is individualized, case by case for their needs
and how I set the rooms up, personalized pet care.
Great spaces for lounging & playing and multiple-pet families etc.
Great for pets who need meds or special feedings, or if they're recovering from
a surgery or health issue
or if you have to go away for an
extended period, or if you are not in my visiting service area for daily
cat/fuzzy critter vaca visits etc.
The two pet rooms have homey wide-pine-wood walls, vinyl-sheeted flooring, perches/cat scratching
posts and lounge chairs, windows/daylight (the windows will stay closed so no
mishaps occur with the potential for chewing through screens etc). There
is also a large stainless steel sink with counter setup, TV & radio.
These rates are Guideline Rates. Rates may vary for certain circumstances.
Cat/fuzzy Critter Care Vacation
Stays rates guidelines: $30 per each day/night for one cat
and $15 per each additional same household cat/fuzzy critter in the same studio apt.
Transport & Errands rates guidelines: $20/hr (minimum of $20) for transportation to and from pets appointments and time it
takes at the appointments or to do errands for them
(I aim to be fair to you and to myself :)
Plan to bring:
Their own food (I want to keep them on their usual diets. If I need to shop for
them the Transport & Errands rates guidelines will apply)
Their meds if necessary, for a few extra days longer
than you planned on - just in case of an unexpected delay on your return.
I have exercise pens to set up for bunnies within the rooms.
Also feel free to bring whatever other comforts from home that they are used to
such as safe toys
or bedding etc.
I want your pets to feel at Home in my own home :)
You bring foods and any meds or supplements for your cats. I supply the
litter and litter boxes. You can also bring whatever other comforts from home if
you'd like.
You bring foods and whatever special supplies and accommodations that your fuzzy critters
will need, and I have a great space to set it up in.
If you have caged very small critters that need care, we can discuss and make
special arrangements for them.
Basic Pet Care Vacation Stays in My Own Home Info:
Minimum of two night stays - (like a hotel)
Drop off and Pick up is generally sometime between 4-7pm unless
otherwise mutually coordinated
If you are an established client who I do Visits for at your home, and if we
can't mutually coordinate for you to bring your pets here or pick them up here,
I may be able to pick up or drop off your pets after you leave and before you
come back home, if we can successfully coordinate that with your travel
schedule. The Transport & Errands rates guidelines apply to this service.
Pets do need to be spayed/neutered.
Same household pets do obviously need to get along in order to stay together.
Pets must be housebroken and/or be accustomed to using their litter boxes
properly in general. I use naturally clumping corn based Worlds Best Cat Litter
brand and have varying sized litter boxes depending on the cats needs or health
issues.
Pets must be free of fleas, and ticks in general, and hopefully have been
provided with adequate provisions to guard against these parasites.
I will provide for and charge accordingly for proper treatment for them if it is
found that there is a flea or tick problem that has not been attended to prior
to them coming for their stay.
Please do not give your pets extra treats or foods they are not accustomed to
before you go away-- we don't want them to experience gastric upset during their
stay.
I will need a copy of their latest vet record that has their current vaccines
listed on it, as per your vets' vaccines protocols/recommendations.
Pets must have been seen by your vet within the past year so if a health issue
occurs, your vet will be familiar and up to date with you and your pets, to
most easily accept caring for them in your absence.
I will need their
Vet info; and your Contact info & where you'll be, including a land line phone #
if at all possible.

I will give you directions to our Berwick home once we have
coordinated.
